I am learning to identify and make compound words.

I will know I can do this when I can find and match two words to make a compound word.

"I like finding compound words in my book.  I am learning to find them around the room.  I can write them into my book.  I made the word "bookmark" when I played the game on the ipad."

We have been curious about our classroom frog and decided to find out a bit more about him.  We have created word clouds to show some of the things we have learned.
