Using direct speech

I was learning to  add direct speech.  Now I know after  any punctuation you  have to  use speech marks.  It was tricky  because  sometimes I  forget  where  to put  them  because  sometimes  it is  hard to remember  where  it goes.

Now I know we have  to look for the clues in the story.    I have to use the clues to figure out the characters and what they are like.  I found it tricky because there are lots of words and it's hard to find the clues in them.

Making equal shares

I was learning to do division.  Now I know what division means.  It was tricky because I didn't know how much there is in the groups.

Describing by showing not telling

We looked at a picture of Red Riding Hood, and we described what we saw.
